(meteorobs) Reports of bright meteor from Queensland, Australia

My local  newspaper/tv astromer liason with the local press is none 
other than Tony Beresford (I think still?) if not certainly in the 
past! So no worries of that here :-)
I think its the media personally, probably sexing it all up - 
ultimately they are responsible really? And I notice a strong hangover 
from skylab even to this day, it stuck strongly and deeply into the 
aussie psyche, especially the members of the press, and older 
generations?
The moral of this story is : don't drop old orbiting bus sized 
spacecraft on us :-) we'll never forget it!
