Hello,

on Tuesday I observed with Javor from a nearby hill, Zaplana, about 20km out of
Slovenia's capitol, Ljubljana. The sky was really good due to very dry air -
there was no dew at all! The location is usually Bortle class 4, but this
night it was closer to Class 3. East and southeast were hampered by light
pollution from Ljubljana and a nearby town, Logatec, but in the
soutwest-west-northwest the clouds were dark down to the horizon. The Milky way
was really impressive, with faint outskirts well visible. Limiting magnitude was
6.9 to 7.0. Meteor activity was good, with 41 meteors seen in 2.38h teff. 6 were
Eclipticids and the other 35 sporadics. There was a nice number of bright
meteors, with the best being a -2. magnitude Eclipticid in Ophiuchus. No tau
Herculids were seen.
