Congratulations are indeed in order for Ed. The AMS soon plans to add a web

Congratulations are in order to long-time meteorobs contributor Ed Majden, 
who this past weekend officially received one of the highest honours of the 
Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Ed has been recognized for his efforts 
in the field of meteor spectroscopy over the past half-century (!) by being 
named the recipient of the C.A. Chant Medal for Astronomical Achievement.
