Subject: Fireball
My husband and I saw a fireball last night out our bedroom window. We
live just north of Slick and the bedroom window faces West and the
fireball was in the north-west coming from the west, traveling easterly
but almost straight down and my husband actually thought that it was a
plane on fire crashing but it was moving WAY too fast for that and it
burned out when it was about 20 degrees up (which a crashing plane
wouldn't). It was VERY bright with long tail and pieces coming off as it
descended. It was about 9:40 but my bedroom clock is far from accurate
so it was ABOUT that time. I was wondering if you had reports from
anyone else who saw it? It was really spectacular.
