(meteorobs) Zodiacal Lights and peaks of Meteor showers?

The Zodiacal Light is densist along the Ecliptic.  Might
there be a connection?  I guess it might depend upon
where the zodiacal light was in relation to the Leonid radiant?

At dawn the radiant is near the Meridian, and about 90 degrees
away from the Zodiacal lights.  I don't know, what do others 
think about this relationship?
