Remarks:
My first observing night from Orgiva. The first two nights (15-16 and 16-17/11) were clouded out. This is a little place in the shadow of the high Sierra Nevada mountain chain in southern Spain. Conditions were great after the passage of an active cold front with heavy snowfall in the northern parts of the Sierra Nevada.
We were already a couple hours after the traditional Leonid maximum; but we enjoyed the pretty rates slightly in decline before dawn. Most Leonid meteors were weak.
In progress: the report from November 18-19/11 (the outburst!)
Long trains,
Michel.
