(meteorobs) 2007, Perseid, Geminid Showers

    I have just received the 2007 Observer’s Handbook of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. As anticipated 2007 will be a relatively moon free year to observe the Perseid and Geminid meteor showers.
    On and about August 13 the moon will rise after four AM in the morning twilight for the Peseid shower, and it will set a little before nine PM local time again in the evening twilight.
    On and about December 14 The moon will rise in the morning daylight and will set between nine and ten PM.
These times are local standard times for mid latitudes.
