Hi All,

on August 18 I observed for three hours from Rezman Observatory
at the foothills of the Alps. In total I saw 44 meteors.
The Perseids were much less active than expected with a single
meteor. I spotted another two Perseids during my breaks. The
Kappa Cygnids were quite strong with five members. The real
surprise were the Southern Delta Aquarids with 4 meteors which I
considered quite high given the fact they were three weeks past
maximum. The SDAs even produced two grazing meteors. The first
was a magnitude 5 meteor that was 20 degrees long and the other
was a 40-degree long 3rd magnitude meteor.
The brightest meteor was a magnitude zero sporadic meteor in
Cassiopeia/Andromeda with a 4-second train. It was also imaged
by the allsky camera at Observatory.

Clear skies!
Javor
