I am seeing a circuit drift(?), or atmospheric pull-up on the electrometer which has biased the recorder signal in a positive direction resulting in a clipping of positive going signals but still showing negative peaks.

However, until I find out why... here is a screen shot of a 1/2 second meteor I actually saw last night. It was a weak light streak but pronounced and very clear. All light pulses in the sky were very weak also. No strong light flashes.

This is the night of stronger(brighter) flashes where negative signal amplitudes were greater. Not all the flashes were seen by me. It is hard to stare at a monitor without the eye deceiving as you blink or look away and back.

I must be very cautious about ALL of this until I get the second electrometer built which will help verify what is going on with the sky and circuitry drift(?).

Wes is right about integration & delays. Note the extended delay or decay of 9 seconds for a 0.5 second meteor. I need to pursue that issue also. 'nuff for now. I have a lot of work to do in refining(if I can...) all of this.
