I had crystal clear skies for the Lyrids last night. It wasn't difficult
deciding which night to observe as tonight is a work night for me. It would
have been interesting to see, though, if the rates were any better tonight
here. They were sure rather slow last night. Of course, the shower has not
peaked yet, even as I write.

I did enjoy a somewhat busy second period, with 8 Lyrids observed. Only
four LYRs were seen the last, third hour, and just five were seen the first
period. There were looooong lulls in the activity.

For a thirty minute period from 06:45 to 07:15 UT, the antehelion radiant
upstaged the Lyrid shower, with 5 ANTs observed during that time. I was out
from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM local time.
