(meteorobs) A classic Perseid?

Wow...i just saw the most incredible meteor of my entire viewing history..
it traversed more than 1/2 the sky in a brilliant, golden, long-train and
slow moving.
who could ask for a better example!?

north to south. I think Perseus has just risen but i could be wrong.
it's 10pm local time here. boy, if this is a preview, i might just
plan to stay outside most of the next 10 nights!

this one was super.

i'm headed back out now..
