(meteorobs) Perseids in South Carolina

After two nights of watching heavy clouds move through and listening to
thundershowers rattling the windows, I finally got a good 4 hours of
observing in last night under fair conditions. There were a few clouds
drifting by every once in a while, but more troublesome was the poor LMs due
to lots of heat and humidity. The Perseids seemed to have performed about as
I expected, but the KCGs seemed to be more numerous than what I looked for.
Unfortunately, as soon as I returned home I had to head into work so have
not transcribed my data yet and can not confirm any of this. There are also
quite a few Perseid reports in my inbox, but both will have to wait a little
until I get some sleep.
