(meteorobs) A meteor shower in Ursa Major in August ?

Yes. This is a minor meteor shower that is usually inactive, discovered 
by the
late NASA/GSFC astronomer Walter Feibelman. However, those streaks in the
picture are probably Iridium flares, See discussion at:
