It falls or stands with the velocity determination.

In this case, that velocity is not determined by triangulation, but an estimate 
from the Dopler shift of the spectrum, which is somewhat an unusual method.

They get 300 km/s from that, or 5 times the speed of a Perseid. Hmmm....
