(meteorobs) URSIDS + advice needed to shoot meteors

Thanks a lot for your reply!

To answer Chris: why the 5sec exposure? That's the minimum you can get
when shooting from a (rocking) airplane at 40000 ft, like for the past
Aurigids observation campaign and for the coming Ursids:

In addition, it takes about 4 sec. for the buffer to be completely empty
and the image to be written into the computer hard drive, so with a
remote control locked on "on" there is very little dead time, less than
0.2 sec.

About the Ursids, as you can see in this web page, we (the authors of
the coming article) were able to model the stream over a millenium, so
it's gonna be a good test of "middle term" modeling ;-)
