(meteorobs) Geminids December 13/14, 2007 from Slovenia

The Geminids were a difficult shower to observe this year from Slovenia
because of the bad weather. Still, I managed to get out on two nights.
On December 13/14 I was out with Jure A., again at Vrh. I immediately
started observing visually while Jure was photographing with his new Nikon
D80. The observing conditions were continually changing and often it was
hard to keep up estimating LM and cloud coverage.
I observed for about one hour and recorded 38 meteors in total, with 32 of
them being Geminids. The only other active radiant was the antihelion
source.

I also operated a video camera ORION1 of Orion Astronomical Society that
I am still testing in Ljubljana, where holes in the clouds were about as
frequent as at Vrh. In 11h37m effective observing time the camera recorded
154 meteors with the following shower distribution according to MetRec:
 Geminids (GEM)       : n=113, mag=1.9 mag
 Sporadics (SPO)      : n=17, mag=1.7 mag
 Monocerotids (MON)   : n=14, mag=2.1 mag
 Antihelion (ANT)     : n=5, mag=2.1 mag
 Coma-Berenicids (COM): n=3, mag=0.8 mag
 sigma-Hydrids (HYD)  : n=2, mag=2.0 mag
