(meteorobs) alpha-Lynicds hopeless for most of Central Europe

Bad luck Jan.  Hope there's a change by the weekend for the Ursids.

Last night started with freezing fog in Oxfordshire, but it cleared as
the temperature tumbled to -6.5C, and considering the bright moonlight
it the LM wasn't too bad around 2 UT.  Tonight the fog came and went but
it's overcast.  Just looking out now there is some encouraging
structure hinting that it might be breaking up, but the forecast is for
cloud until sunrise.
