Those engaged in Radio Meteor or general meteor research work including meteor photographic capture, might like to consider this very inexpensive software program which can provide capture & a log timing of meteor events for each .avi frame with little hardware requirement.

Tho' designed for common webcams, it was also found to work with inexpensive video PCI cards like the AVerDVD EZmoviemaker and others.

A ten day free trial is offered for test purposes by the designer located in Arizona, USA. Very useful & simple to operate with minimum hardware, the program can be viewed on line at http://www.azcendant.com/  It might very well work together with Radio Meteor scatter recordings to provide close timing to the actual visual event.
