Meteors enter the atmosphere every day.
Fireballs do create excitement.
An impact of the appropriate size can create a bad day.

We have  (in May) the Edmonton Screamer, (in June) the British Columbia
fireball and the 7 Second N. California Fireball.

Let's us see what we have seen by 30 June,  7:17 AM  Irkutsk, Russian
Federation time.
