Hi Geert,

You should be able to by a talking clocks at the shops from our national league for blind people (the 'Brailleliga').

Two weeks ago, I met a blind and older man in the hospital using a talking watch. 

For the moment I am using a normal tape recorder and a Casio W-732H watch with count down alarm chrono function.
