Hi,

Gary Kronk's excellent web site and book credits the discovery of the 
June Lyrids to S. Dvorak (California, USA) and F. W. Talbot (Cheshire, 
England).

Fred Talbot, who was a teenager at the time of the discovery in 1966, is 
now a well know television broadcaster in the north west of England 
where I live. Fred still has a keen interest in astronomy.

Do any of you know anything of the June Lyrids co-discoverer, 
Californian S. Dvorak?
