The intent  of my email was this: scatter work is not restricted to FM.
Other radio observation can be done at other VHF/UHF frequencies --
including utility stations in the 5/6 metre range, TV around channel 2,
and other signal sources. For those looking for a change and a challenge
there is more than FM.

Radar did have humble beginning in the low end 10/11 meter and the
amateur work was done experimental at this frequency range. Not to
forget  -- even today HAM radio still has participants bouncing 2  metre
signals of known shower events for scatter work.

If there are others who have interference or find  crowded bands on FM,
there may be alternate frequencies for radio meteors.
