(meteorobs) Observation November 01/02, 2007 from Slovenia

Hi All,

The sky of November 1 was very transparent. While observing comet
17P/Holmes in outburst I saw many meteors so I could not resist to observe
the meteors as well. I planned to observe until Moonrise, but was
interrupted by the passing clouds.
In 1.5 hours Teff I recorded 31 meteors. The Taurids were quite productive
with 10 meteors in total. The Orionid radiant was low in the sky
throughout the observation so only one ORI was seen. During my watch no
bright meteors appeared. The brightest was a +1 mag sporadic Cassiopeia
that left a short-lasting train (one of the two meteors with trains seen
during my observation).
