After small homework it was 100% Taurid - could be that tonight is the
last night for these so my advice to anyone with a clear sky is look as
early as possible.

Luminous trains

I was taking photographs of fireworks on Nov 5 (bonfire night to
celebrate Guy Fawkes vain attempt to blow up the English houses of
parliament in 1605 - strange but true) at APPROX 22.00HRS U and within
10 seconds saw a -1 magn. meteor heading due east.

May have been a sporadic - but a good one.

Clear skies

I was out shooting Comet Holmes the past week, & have noticed some
meteor activity. Sporadics?

http://cometphoto.blogspot.com

On 11/8 (~4:30am) I observed 3 fireballs within 10 min. They all
seemed to come out of Auriga:

- 1 moved slowly towards NE (greenish, left persistent trail)
- 1 moved towards SW (reddish nucles!? left persistent trail)

Can someone tell me what meteor shower this is?
