(meteorobs) Leonids 2007 (What Leonids?)

Here is a report on this year's Leonids from long-time
observer, Shelby Ennis, a radio "ham" in Kentucky
who listens to meteor showers by way of radio signals
reflected off the ionization trails left behind by meteors
(radio scatter).  -- joe r.
 
Don't know how the Leonids were, but no evidence of them here.
Monitored  144 before & shortly after the predicted peak time.  Also 
watching  the PJ Web page.  Think I had 2 pings in that time!  The 
reports  on the PJ page were "worse than a typical random night."  Not 
many  people on the air.  Went to bed.

Things might have been a little better Sun morning, maybe around 1500 Z  
or so, but not many reports and they weren't very good.  Consensus  seems 
to be that they were very poor this year.
