Chris was right. (not surprising.)
Background stars are almost completely eliminated at night regardless the settings.
0.1 mag star can only be brought out with extreme massaging in a photo program here.
This renders the use of IR domes to daylight only and even that has serious limitations Daylight use turns the camera into a motion detector for everything in the sky. Bright fireballs could still be detected tho' if located well away from Sun and internal camera reflections.
IR dome comes off in a few minutes, until a 2nd camera for daylight is up.
