17/P unfortunely has perielium at over 3.5 A.U. then there isn't a meteor
shower for the Earth, with the outburst of today if its orbit cross the 
orbit
of a planet it shall be a very spectacular meteor shower.   :-(((

Warning for North American observers (Canada and USA, especially
Eastern Cost): it's probable that this night the comet, that it's 
circumpolar,
can go over +2.7a where is now, perharps it can go at negative magnitude
then you can have the show that you lost with C/2006 P1 McNaught,
go out of the cities and take it in historical photos! Clear sky.
