(meteorobs) A Lively Night in N. California

I was surprised to capture 11 probably -3 fireballs and brighter from 1 
am to 5 am here in N. Calif. with my all-sky camera. The sky was clear 
all night, and the moon pretty bright. I was out from 4:16 to 4:36 am 
and caught another 10 with my unaided eye. Several were not Aurigids. 
I'll look at the take more closely another day.

           Is Mt. Everest the highest mountain? If you measure from
           the base, no. Mt. Whitney's (Denali) on the same basis
           would tower 8K feet above Everest.
