Conditions on the evening of August 31 were not very
promising - clouds, high winds and a pall of white
alkaline dust in the air. But when I got up at 2 am
the clouds, wind and some of the dust was gone. The
remaining dust did interfere with transparency and
limiting magnitude, but I still saw the whole Aurigid
outburst. As you can see from the tables below, almost
all of it occurred in the hour between 10:46 and 11:46
UT.

September 1, 2007 Paradise Hill, Nevada, 20 miles
north of Winnemucca. Longitude 117 degrees, 37' 30"
West; Latitude 41 degrees 15' 0" north.
