As I suspected, the welcome notice is related to the shift of meteorobs to a new machine, as the 
old server is becoming unreliable. So it is a real message that you can ignore, or save if you wish.
Your subscription to meteorobs has not changed.

Sometime in the next few weeks there will be a short disruption as the final transfer occurs, we'll give everyone some advance notice before that happens.

Sorry for the confusion. Back to your regularly scheduled program.
