Weather was not supposed to be good, but I woke up at 2:30 AM to moonlight streaming in the bedroom. So I got my kit together and headed up to the NJAA observatory.
I managed 2 hours up until nautical twilight.
Activity was OK, busy early, dead late. Skies were variable around +4.9. I never saw the 4th star in the bowl of the little dipper (+4.95) but did see other +5.1 stars, and my LM areas were between +4.8 and +5.1.
I chose +4.9 as a reasonable representative LM for the morning.
I did not attempt to monitor ANT, since the 96.5% mag -12.2 moon was right at the radiant.
Blocked the moon with my car (since it was so low) seemed to work out OK.
