(meteorobs) Meteor report from Edmonton -- 2008-08-05/06

    Had another one-hour session from my front yard on Wednesday morning.
Observed seven meteors in the hour, not bad in urban skies, although nothing
particularly  bright.

    Funny thing: my back yard used to be far superior for stargazing, but
there are more "security" lights out there in the back alley these days;
meanwhile in the front the trees have grown and now swallow up the
streetlights in the summer months.
