Fri Aug 22 09:11:55 EDT 2008

Time 20:09 PDT Aug 18 (0309 UT Aug 19)
Observed from near Sacramento CA.
Elevation ~ 30 to 26 degrees
Azimuth start ~ 150 degrees SSE to ~ 250 degrees WSW
Duration 17 seconds.
Long trail
"Painfully bright" and considering this was only 15 minutes after sunset, that's really bright!

I am helping the observer with writing fireball report.

Fortunately, an experienced amateur astronomer, so we will get good information.
>From my discussions, it appears this fireball came from the Antehelion radiant; therefore an apollo type orbit.
