The 28 July 2008 it was discovered a new Neo asteroid, 2008 OB,

http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=2008+OB9&orb=1

an object of a little more 1 Km in diameter, this it's usual, but
this object has too a MOID of 0.0053478 AU with the Earth
that it's around 800,000 Km.
This object can origine around the 15 October a meteor shower
and in particular the 15 October 1962, the Earth was in the near
same point where was the asteroid 12 days before, a condition
that it's excellent for a meteor shower, the shower should be
Southern (but I not do exact calculation on this topic), some body
has data on an unusual number of meteors around this date?
Best greetings.
