I enjoyed another morning of clear skies but overslept a bit and began
observing more than 1 hour later than I had planned. Beginning at 2:15
a.m. local time, I logged 2 hours of observing, again, under mediocre
August skies. Basically, it was an uneventful morning. Activity from the
Alpha Aurigids produced only 2 each hour, and the sporadics were about
average for this time of year at this site. Even the meteor magnitudes
for the morning were uneventful - I only saw 2 meteors brighter than +2.
