    I have posted a few images of some of the meteorites which have been recovered from western Saskatchewan here:

    Thanks to Stephen Bedingfield for his assistance in establishing this temporary website. 

    Still not sure what the fall will be named, although as I understand the convention, it is the closest post office, which may well be Marsden. Gotta like the first syllable! 

    The four small meteorites  recovered by Frank Florian and myself have been turned over to Dr. Chris Herd of the University of Alberta for analysis. Frank and I spoke with Dr. Herd this afternoon, and he reports that early radiographic (?) results on the largest fragment are quite promising, even surprising. I may need to be walked through the jargon one or two more times before I can report coherently on the subject, but anytime a scientist sounds excited, I get excited. I'll continue to follow this story arc with great interest.
