(meteorobs) Fireball over DFW Metroplex

I received a second hand report from a friend who lives north of DFW, just east of Denton, 
Texas.  He reported a very bright and large fireball Thursday evening about 11 PM CST (0500 
Z).  The object moved from north to south, reportedly at a steep vertical angle. He also said 
that he could see small pieces breaking off and separating from the main body.  He did not 
mention a terminal explosion.
