(meteorobs) Ursids observation December 21/22, 2008 from Slovenia

Hi All,

last night I observed for a couple of hours to catch the possible
Ursid activity enhancement.
After many weeks of clouds, rain and snow, the sky was clear and
transparent throughout the observation. During the last half hour
the Moon interfered somewhat, but not too much as I kept it behind
my hand.
The Ursids were quite strong with 20 members seen. That included a
magnitude -3 Ursid at 01h31m UT that shot through Cepheus and into
Cassiopeia. Other showers were weak.
When comparing my observations to what others have posted, it appears
there was some Ursid enhancement at the time of my observation. Looks
like a broad one with a ZHR of about 20-30.
