"Beginning Feb. 18, 2009, anyone who does not own a digital tv set and
still gets their programming via over-the-air antennas will no longer
receive a picture. That's the day the television industry completes its
transition from old-style analog broadcasting to digital."

Looks like one more precious year of forward scatter from tv
transmitters here in the US. If anyone hears of alternative
developments for the continuation of radio meteor work I hope they will
report the information here in this forum. As it stands now, the FM
88-108 MHz radio dial is super-congested and not available for scatter
like it used to be.

Clear skies and happy radio meteor observing for the coming year.
