(meteorobs) Observation 04/01/2008

Just a quick report from what one might call a meteor observation -- had set
my alarm clock to 3UT, woke up under clear skies and got ready just to see
clouds rolling in. My staying awake until dawn wasn't of much use either, as
only after 6UT the clouds started to break up again - right when the
beginning of dawn made observations impossible again.

So don't let the report form below spoil your data if you're doing any
analysis.

However, in the short period I actually would have been able to register
brighter Quadrantids (6UT), none was seen. One single COM was the outcome of
a night I should rather have stayed in bed -- where I'm going back right now.

Clear skies to everybody currently out there

Daniel

~ right velocity for COM and, despite poor plotting conditions,
can be traced back to close to the radiant

Comments: Got up around 4UT under clear skies that happened to
see clouds rolling in while I was getting ready for observation.
Thick clouds started breaking up just before dawn made conditions
worse again. This data is certainly of no scientific use, but
should there have been a ~100 ZHR Quadrantid shower going on
I think I might have noticed.

Please note: d = degrees, all times in UT
