(meteorobs) Official Quad report from Alberta

Bruce McCurdy and I observed from approx 07-14Z on the Jan 3-4 max. From
roughly N52 W115. Activity was quite nice, best Quadrantids I have
experienced (lots of cloud and low radiant attempts previously). My best 15
minute bin was 9 Quads from 1200-1215 and the radio was going all night.
Bruce will be submitting his own report shortly I imagine. Captured two
really nice meteors on camera, still need to do the time lapse and stack.

Saw 2 alpha Hydrids, 1 Anthelion, and 5 (!) epsilon Leonids. Also noted,
albeit late, several sporadics (total 5) coming from the head of Draco RA
265 deg, Dec +54 - all medium speed.

Below are my official submissions to the IMO.
Good observing,
Alister.

Note I had to split the mag distribution for the QUA into two intervals.

// Personal comments
At 13:13 I noticed that the last 3 sporadics came from somewhere near the
head of Draco,
RA 265 deg, Dec +54. After that time another 2 came from that same area, all
medium speed.

A surrogate mini-form for the two additional minor showers in question:
For whole night 07:01-13:45 Teff 4.5hrs, also saw 2 alpha Hydrids, and 5
epsilon Leonids:
