We had partly cloudy conditions in the early part of the night,
followed
by a nice partial clearing for most of the night. Comet 17/P Holmes was
still
easy to see as a large cloud about 4th magnitude and 45 arcminutes in
extent.
Comet 8/P Tuttle was an easy object with binoculars, but just below
naked-eye
visibility. I was able to do a couple hours of meteor observing.

Antihelion activity was good, but only slight activity was seen from
the COM
radiant. One possible January Coma Berenicid (JCO) was seen, and several
Apex
meteors were seen. The best meteor seen was a beautiful -2 magnitude ANT
seen
at 6:25 UT. Below ia a summary of what meteors were observed.
