(meteorobs) analogue observations Perseids

Will there be any observers of the Perseids (11/12 August),  be
observing both visually and with a VLF receiver using only a head set or
recorder with in a radius of 100 miles/161km of State College
Pennsylvania?

Provided the Mid Atlantic sky of summer are not overcast, I would be
interested in receiving any comments about their observations.
