I certainly agree with Bert.  Now I see a post that the max has become even 
earlier, July 27.  When I first got into meteors I learned the date of July 
29.  But observing in dark skies starting in the early 70's showed the max 
date to be solidly July 30.  Ongoing bad weather for well over 20 years 
ended my Delta Aquarid observing in 1984.  Could the max date be shifting 
to earlier nights since then?  I would not know why.
