I observed 3 mornings, all of which "featured" a meteor free hour. In fact during the first, both meteor pairs during two hours Teff occurred within a minute of each other; other than that it was a lot of looking at the sky.
Lightning bugs are active now, it creates an interesting dilemma. Other times of the year if I see a flash in my peripheral vision I can report a meteor, I know it's a meteor; not so this time of the year. I need to get a good look to ensure it isn't a bug. Otherwise there would be lots of short 0 magnitude yellow meteors. One flashed right in front of my eyes the second night, I'm sure it degraded my LM for a few minutes.
All meteors were plotted using an alignment cord for more accurate path; plot times to determin Teff are actual times from the audio tape. All meteor records are to the nearest minute; if anyone ever needs more detailed time breakdown than the summary I provide, that information is easily available.
One negative of plotting is that despite using a faint red flashlight, the plotting process does need some recovery time for full night vision. I estimate my LM's both right after a plot, and during the meteor free doldrums, it only seems to drop me down 0.1 mag or so for 3 or 4 minutes.
All obs were at the NJAA (IMO code 25186), 74d53m54s W 40d40m52s N 253 meters elevation
Observer HALWA. FOV generally between Ophiuchus and Aquila, F all nights 1.00.
