>>Just for kicks I uploaded a typical Austrailian fireball photo where the
camera WAS tracking. The stars are better defined with much sharper
definition around their edges.

Ahhh....that is a very nice meteor photo...perhaps the best I've seen
anywhere.

YCSentinel...just a side note here...I'm heading your direction Tuesday
morning to dredge for gold on the north fork yuba river. We will be there most of
July and August. My claim area is about a half mile downstream from the
bridge where highway 49 crosses over the river. this is about 13 miles shy of
Downieville. We are camped about 1.5 miles in beside the dirt road trail that
follows the river. The gate is locked for everyone, but the miners, but foot
traffic is allowed for all others. If you feel like checking our site out, you
are welcome. If you start walking from the bridge downstream, most likely you
will come across 2 different dredging groups. We are together on the same
claim. I have the smallest dredger (4 incher). Before I ramble anymore, was just
wondering if you know about any fires going on in that area along highway
49?
