Hi Josh, 
The weight of the meteor doesn't necessarily  affect how fast a meteor falls. 
It's more focused on trajectory (or direction)  at which the meteorite hits 
Earth's atmosphere. 
That's the basic explanation, I'm sure  others on this list can answer with 
more details for your project.

I am doing a science project and I am in  the 4th grade.  I read what you
said about how fast meteors  fall.  But does the weight of the meteor affect
how fast it  falls?
