(meteorobs) pi-Puppids 2008 prediction - activity is expected (Mikhail Maslov)

Hello Jeremie and all,

"Vertical trails" approach doesn't show pi-Puppid activity in
2003. The most close 1957 and 1961 trails intersect the Earth's orbit
on March 25 and May 16, respectively, i.e. ~30 and ~20 days before and
after maximum, respectively. And these intersections are made by
particles with much higher ejection velocity than in 2008.
This year intersections by1942 and 1947 trails occur on April 16 and 4
May, respectively, much closer to the to the maximum. So in 2008
conditions are much more favorable than in 2003. Will it result in
activity - I hope southern observers will answer this quistion.
