Probably not important. Lightning has been striking a nearby Mtn. (Sutter Buttes, I think) 1 to 3 times every 10 seconds for MORE than a half hour. I have never seen such a swarm. It is still continuing.... at or just below my ENE horizon. My electrostatic instruments are going crazy with pulses as is my recording camera. YC Sentinel
