(meteorobs) Two meteor observers honoured with asteroid namings

Hi all,

The latest batch of MPC's from the IAU Minor Planet Center contains the 
following two new asteroid namings, after two long time meteor observers also 
active on this list:

(132820) Miskotte

(142368) Majden

Congrats to Koen Miskotte and Ed Majden!

The text of the naming citations:

132820 Miskotte           	Discovered 2002 Aug. 17 by NEAT at Palomar.
Koen Miskotte (b. 1962) is a Dutch confectioner and amateur astronomer whose
main interests lie in meteor astronomy. He is a very prolific meteor observer,
active within the Dutch Meteor Society. The name was suggested by M. Langbroek.

142368 Majden           	Discovered 2002 Sept. 14 by R. Matson on NEAT images 
taken at Palomar.
Edward (Ed) Majden (b. 1939), co-discoverer of two near-earth asteroids, is an 
amateur astronomer best known for more than 35 years' work recording meteor 
spectra. An associate member of the Meteorites and Impacts Advisory Committee, 
he was awarded the 2006 Chant Medal by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
